A press photographer captures Federico Fellini and Ingrid Bergman. Bergman famously caused a scandal in the US when, on the set of Stromboli (1950) she fell in love with Italian director Roberto Rosselini. Both were married at the time and their affair led to a loss of public support for the actress in America where Ed Sullivan refused to have her on her show and she was even denounced on the floor of the US Senate. The loss of public support led to the acterss leaving the US for Europe.
